研究概要

1)三崎局辺海域では昨年度に比して大幅に調査回数を重ね、60回の磯、干潟、岩礁帯での採集調査、24回のドレッジでの底棲生物調査採集、12回の中層トロールを行い、750種前後の生物種の同定、1,500枚の写真撮影、100点の標本作製整理、2 50'種についてゲノム解析用サンプルの調製を行い、データーベースへの登録を行った。更に調査を相模湾全域、葉山御用邸下、藤沢沖、真鶴半島局辺、城ヶ島近海にひろげた。これらの採集調査には班員以外に国立科学博物館、神奈川県水産研究所、東京大学理学部を初めとする11大学の学部・研究科に所属する研究.者、学生、さらに一般市民を含むボランティアの協力を得て行った。2)新たに、東京大学臨海実験所、東京大学総合博物館所蔵の相模湾産生物の標本のデーターベースへの登録、相模湾生物に関する書籍、図鑑に掲載されている生物のデーターベース化を精力的に行い、三崎周辺生物相を網羅した出版物Fauna Misakiaをまとめ始めている。来年度は相模湾各海域の生物相を網羅的に記載したFauna Sagamiaの作成作業を開始する。3)これらの学術研究に関する情報を広めるために合計5回の市民講座、勉強会、シンポジウムを主催又は共催で開催した。4)絶滅が危倶され学術的に貴重な生物種に関しては、昨年度に引き続き、ヌタウナギ、シャミセンガイ、ナメクジウオの生息場所、生殖場所の探索を行い、三崎周辺での生息が確実視された。ナメクジウオの内分泌器官類似器官の遺伝子解析、貴重な産卵行動の映像化と飼育を更に進め、詳細なデーターが得られた。ナメクジウオ精子運動活性化物質の精製と構造決定の研究が進められた。5)相模湾の物質循環についての基礎生産量の測定が継続して行われ、多くのデーターが蓄積された。6)環境汚染に関しては機スズの汚染の実態について継続的に調査を行い、更に多くのデーターが蓄積された。
