研究概要

本研究では、様々な生命現象に密接に関連している活性酸素種(スーパーオキシドイオンO_2^-,過酸化水素H_2O_2,ヒドロペルオキラジカルなど)の反応特異性の解明を目的として行われ、本年度は次の成果を得た。
1.非プロトン性非水溶媒中において、水銀電極を用いて酸素のスーパーオキシドイオンへの電解還元反応を行うことによって、特異な界面電流振動現象が起こることを発見し、そのメカニズムの詳細を解明した。
2.過酸化水素と過酢酸の電気化学的同時定量分析にはじめて成功した。
3.水銀アドアトム修飾金電極を用いて水溶液中で酸素の4電子還元により水を生成することに成功した。また、その反応メカニズムを解明した。
4.スーパーオキシドイオンの検出方法を見出した。
