研究概要

極限原子と云うべきフッ素原子の特異性は、機能材料や医農薬など応用分野でのフッ素化合物の利用を拡大してきているが、学術的フッ素化学の基盤研究はその必要性にもかかわらず遅れている。本企画調査研究では、フッ素科学の新展開に関る特定領域研究を組織するため、有機合成化学、有機金属化学、反応機構、医薬品化学、電気化学、材料化学などの分野で活躍する研究者を結集して、「含フッ素超分子の創出」を図るための企画調査を行うものである。2日間の日程で企画調査研究会を開催し、下記の4項目に大別される研究者個々の研究成果情報と最新の国内外の研究情報の集積と整理を総合的に行った。
1)反応機能の開発に関する企画調査(丸岡、三上、檜山、市川、淵上、西口、米田)
フッ素原子の特異性を活用する官能基変換、骨格構築法、新規フッ素化法の開発
2)生理活性機能の開発に関する企画調査(田口、沢田、宇根山、松村、山崎)
新規な含フッ素生理活性物質の分子設計のための合成化学、計算化学的研究
3)分子認識機能の開発と基盤的研究に関する企画調査(久保田、友田、竹内、園田)
フッ素化合物の分子間相互作用の微視的な解析と機能性物質の創製
4)材料機能の開発に関する企画調査(中島、長村、小野、鄭、柳田)
フッ素修飾による材料の改質と新規機能の創出およびフッ素化合物の特性の系統的研究
本企画調査により、分子の特定の位置へのフッ素の導入による微視的な構造変化や分子間相互作用の変化さらには機能発現機構の解明などの基盤研究の推進は、今後における新産業を牽引する革新的進展に不可欠な研究課題であるとの認識を強くした。
