研究概要	環境に負荷が少なく、かつ省資源、省エネルギー型の物質変換方法の開発は緊要の課題である。その課題達成には常温、常圧、触媒的などの反応条件とともに、その反応の付加価値、位置および立体選択性、物質収支など多くの要件を満足させる必要がある。本特定研究課題の目的は、遷移金属を触媒として用い、また、酸素の遷移金属への高い親和性を利用して、反応を加速するとともに、中間体としてオキサメタラサイクルを経由することにより、高度に位置、立体選択的な制御を行い、物質収支の良い、省資源、省エネルギー型の物質変換方法を開発することである。具体的にはニッケルを触媒としてMe_2Znとω-ジエンイン、アルデヒドを反応させるとオキサニッケラシクロアルカンを経由しtrans-5-[2-(z)-プロペニリデンシクロペンチル]-3-ペンテン-1-オールやtrans-5-[2-(Z)-プロペニリデンシクロヘキシル]-3-ペンテン-1-オールが選択的、高収率で得られることを発見した。ここで極めて興味深いのは、シクロアルカン付け根の炭素と水酸基の付いた炭素の遠隔1,5-ジアステレオ選択性が極めて高いことである。これは、研究の狙いであるメタラサイクルを経由し、立体選択性を制御するという基本戦略が実際に活かされた好例といえる。
