光応答性新規大環状有機ケイ素化合物の合成

研究概要

新しい合ケイ素大環状化合物の合成とその化学的・物理的特性を解明することを目的として、ケイ素官能基で芳香環を架橋したシクロファン型化合物を合成するとともに、その構造や光化学的性質について検討し、以下の知見を得た。
(1)キシリレンジクロリドとジクロロシラン類とのGrignard反応およびその改良法により、ケイ素を架橋鎖にもつジシラ[3.3]シクロファンおよびより環の大きい環状オリゴマーをそれぞれ合成、単離することに成功した。
(2)NMRやX線結晶構造解析により、ジシラ[3.3]メタシクロファンは二つの芳香環が互いに逆方向を向いたanti構造を有することを明らかにした。また、ジシラ[3.3]メタパラシクロファンは大きく歪んだ構造をとり、一つの芳香環上の水素が^1HNMRスペクトルにおいて大きく高磁場シフトすることが分かった。さらに、環状オリゴマーのX線結晶構造解析を行い、1nmほどの空孔をもつ環状オリゴマーの分子構造の決定に成功した。
(3)ジシラ[3.3]シクロファンの蛍光スペクトルを測定したところ、305nm付近に極大をもつモノマー発光が分子内消光され、長波長側に分子内エキシマーに由来する微弱な発光を示した。また、ジシラ[3.3]シクロファンやジスタナ[3.3]シクロファンはTCNEと溶液中で電荷移動錯体を形成することを明らかにした。
(4)スチレンユニットを有するビス(シリルメチル)ベンゼン誘導体やジシロキサン誘導体の分子内および分子間光環化付加反応により、合ケイ素大環状化合物が簡便に高収率で合成できることを見い出した。
