研究概要

本年度の総括班では、特定領域研究「A01茎頂-根端軸の形成と維持機構」と「A02放射軸、背腹軸、左右相称性の形成・維持機構」の研究環境の整備および領域発展のために、以下の事業を行った。
1.班内のコミュニケーションをはかるために、PAS Newsを20号:研究組織および班員名簿、21号:成果報告会要旨、22号:平成18年度事業報告,23号:平成18年度成果報告集の計4号、刊行した。
2.平成18年7月10-12日に北海道青少年会館で本領域の後継者の養成を目指して、若手研究者を中心とした若手ワークショップを開催した。68名の若手研究者の活発な討論があった。
3.平成18年11月21-22日に「視る生物学-バイオイメージングの最前線と植物科学への応用」と題したシンポジウムを奈良先端科学技術大学院大学ミレニアムホールにて、奈良先端科学技術大学院大学と共同開催し、植物におけるバイオイメージングついて広く議論した。
4.平成19年1月17-18日に全体班会議を行い、研究成果について意見の交換を行った。
5.平成18年度全体班会議に合わせて、総括班会議を開催し、領域研究の現状の分析と今後の方針について討論した。
6.本領域研究全体の本年度の成果として、多くの論文を科学雑誌に発表した。
