研究概要

活動実績は以下のとおり.
1.総括班会議,計画研究代表者会議を召集し,各計画研究の進捗度を評価し,必要な助言を与え,対策を講じた.総括班会議は2回,計画研究代表者会議は2回開催した.総括班会議では領域の全体計画を,代表者会議では各計画間にまたがる技術的な細部を議論した.
2.各計画研究の共通データ解析の進捗状況を把握・評価・助言し必要な対策を講じ成果を実証することを目的に,班会議,複数研究グループ間の会議,共同作業を計25回実施した.
3.情報処理学会,人工知能学会知識,電子情報通信学会の関連する研究会との合同研究会を2回開催(平成15年9月,16年3月)し,アクティブマイニングの特集を企画し,本特定領域の全計画研究から成果を発表した.
4.人工知能学会論文誌(Vol.17)の「アクティブマイニング特集」に掲載された以降の進展をNew Generation Computingならびに電子情報通信学会論文誌Dの「アクティブマイニング特集」にて報告することを企画した.
5.第2回アクティブマイニングに関する国際ワークショップ(平成15年10月)を開催し,本特定領域研究から多数の成果を発表した.また,第3回アクティブマイニングに関する国際ワークショップを来年6月に,アクティブマイニングを主要課題とする知識獲得ワークショップを来年8月に開催することを企画した.
6.今年度の研究成果をまとめた平成15年度研究成果報告書を刊行した.さらに,今年度の肝炎共通データの解析結果を中間報告書にまとめ刊行した.
7.今年度の成果報告会を兼ねた公開シンポジウムを,九州大学国際研究交流プラザにて本特定領域研究の全研究者が参加して開催した(平成16年3月).
