代数学における保型形式的構造とゼータ関数の明示的研究

研究概要	今年度は、研究代表者は、2002年9月15日から21日にOberwolfach数学研究所国際研究集会「多変数保型形式」を、また2003年2月15日から19日に商工会議所福利センターにて分野縦断的な第2回保型形式周辺分野スプリングコンファレンスを開催した。また研究分担者佐藤文広(立教大学)は、白馬にて第5回オータムワークショップ(保型形式国際研究集会)を開催した。これらの討論を通じて、研究代表者は(1)次数2における整数および半整数ウェイトの保型形式の間の対応予想(1変数の場合の志村予想の拡張にあたる)について、離散群およびウェイトを具体的に指定した1対1対応の予想を精密に与えた。(2)斎藤恭司によるエータ積のフーリエ係数の非負性についての予想において、新しい例について予想の成立を証明した。また、CIRM研究集会(9月、Luminy),アメリカ数学会(10月、Madison)、KIAS研究集会(12月、ソウル)などの国際研究集会で招待講演者として講演を行った。研究分担者それぞれは、旗多様体のエルミート定数(渡部)、相対跡公式の基本補題(古澤)、2次ユニモジュラー行列群の素測地線定理(荒川)、tight designの分類問題の新結果(坂内)、共形ブロックの連接性(永友)、概均質ゼータの関数等式の絡作用素による記述(佐藤)、既約弱球等質空間の分類(木村)、対称空間でないp等質空間の例における球関数論の構成(広中)、局所体上のSL(n)のinner-formのL packetの決定(斎藤裕)、楕円Lie環とその表現(斎藤恭司)、Kudla liftが消えないための周期の条件(菅野)、頂点作用素代数における拡張トレース関数(宮本)、半単純Lie群上の一般化された球関数(織田)などの研究において新結果を得た。
