研究概要	・超過変動が存在するとき、単調増加反応、および非線形反応を高い検出力で検出する検定を開発した. ・観測データがカオス的な強い非線形性を示すとき、埋め込み次元の推定法を以前に開発したが、その一致性を数学的に証明した. ・多層パーセプトロンおよび動径基底関数ネットワークに基づく非線形モデリング手法について研究し,大規模かつ高次のデータ解析に有効な手法を提案した. ・進化速度確率変動モデルを複数遺伝子モデルに拡張し、遺伝子間の共進化を検出する手法を提案した. ・RNAウイルス配列の最適サンプリング計画を検討し、既報の9人の患者からのHIV-1 env遺伝子について、潜伏期間における集団の大きさと進化速度の間に負の相関を認めた. ・非正則な尤度関数を持つQTL解析に遺伝アルゴリズムを導入し、数値的最適化の有効性を示した. ・不完全データの父性解析により有効花粉輸送距離と雄株稔性を同時推定する手法を開発した. ・マウスリンフォーマ試験と細胞転換試験のデータ解析法を開発した. ・細胞の遺伝的不安定仮説に基づき,放射線発がんの数理モデルの構築を行った. ・B-スプライン法に基づくノンパラメトリック平滑化と多項式モデルを用いたパラメトリックな曲線の当てはめについて、AIC型の基準量により評価し、予測誤差の小さいモデルを選出する方法を開発した. ・2次の制約条件付きの相関係数最大化問題について研究を行い、最適解を求めた.
