有害物質への胎児期複合暴露によるクレチン症発症のリスク評価

研究概要	クレチン症のマス・スクリーニング検査において陽性であった新生児34名(男:20名、女:14名)の血清TSH濃度は27.9±33.3(平均値±標準偏差、以下同様に表示する)μIU/mlであった。また、血清のfT_3とfT_4の濃度はそれぞれ2.96±0.94pg/mlと1.07±0.37ng/dlであった。37名の健常児(男:17名、女:20名)のTSH、fT_3およびfT_4の血清濃度はそれぞれ8.70±6.05μIU/ml、4.12±0.92pg/mlと2.62±0.97ng/dlであった。当然のことながら、マス・スクリーニング陽性児は健常児と比較して、TSH濃度は有意に高く、fT_3とfT_4濃度は有意に低かった。両群の出産後3週間以内の母乳を汚染している有害化学物質の濃度を測定した.その結果、マス・スクリーニング陽性児群のダイオキシン類、PCB、DDT、HCH、クロルデンおよびHCBの汚染レベルは脂肪重量当たりそれぞれ18.2±7.0TEQ-pg/g、104±49ng/g、348±212ng/g、110±55ng/g、44±32ng/gそして12.0±5.6ng/gであった。一方、健常児群ではそれぞれ21.6±12.5TEQ-pg/g、110±59ng/g、285±196ng/g、123±95ng/g、53±29ng/gそして17.0±11.0ng/gであった。以上のように、マス・スクリーニング陽性児群ではダイオキシン類、PCB、HCH、クロルデンおよびHCBの汚染レベルは健常児群よりもやや低い傾向があった。DDTのみがマス・スクリーニング陽性児群で高かった。しかしながら、この相違はいずれも統計上有意なものではないので、今後、検体を増やし、クレチン症発症と人体汚染物質の関係を究明する必要がある。
