研究概要

1.バルク超伝導体の基礎特性実験と評価(変動磁場下における磁化特性評価実験)
応用機器の実機運転環境を想定したバルク超伝導体の電磁的・熱的振舞を明確にするための基礎的な特性評価として、変動磁場下における磁化特性評価を行った。その結果、交流磁界を印加した際の着磁磁束(トラップ磁束)の減衰は、磁束クリープによる減衰とは明らかに異なり、交流磁界印加の最初の数周期で大きく減衰し、その後減衰の傾きが時間とともに緩やかになることがわかった。これらの振舞を明らかにするために、E-J特性を考慮した有限要素法に基づく数値解析を行い、トラップ磁束の減衰は、E-J特性に起因するバルク体内のsupercurrentの拡散と密接に関わっていることが明らかになった。
2.自由に方向転換可能な浮上搬送装置の基礎特性評価
磁気浮上搬送装置への応用を前提としたバルク超伝導体と永久磁石間の静特性・動特性の評価実験を行った。また薄板近似有限要素法を用いた数値解析により、磁場分布、バルク超伝導体内の電流分布、および浮上力・案内力を求めた。そして実験結果と比較して定性的、定量的に一致する結果を得た。さらに磁気浮上搬送装置の実運転において様々な方向から力が働くことを想定した自由・強制振動特性を実験により評価した。
3.リニアアクチュエータの試作・基礎特性評価実験
着磁したバルク超伝導体を二次側走行子としたリニア同期アクチュエータを試作し、基礎特性試験として、静止時のギャップ磁束分布および始動トルク測定実験を行った。そして、実験と有限要素法を用いた数値解析の両面から着磁したバルク体を二次側に適用したリニア同期アクチュエータの特性を明らかにした。
4.バルク超伝導体応用のための真空断熱容器の開発
MSI(Multi-Shell Insulation)を用いた真空断熱容器を採用した冷媒を用いないシステムのモデル装置を試作し、温度上昇特性の評価実験を行うとともに、計算機シミュレーションとの比較を行い良好な結果を得た。
