バルク超伝導体の特性評価と応用のための基礎的研究

研究概要

1.バルク超伝導体の基礎特性実験と評価:バルク超伝導体応用には、交流磁界印加時のバルク体内の電磁的な振舞を明らかにすることが必要不可欠である。そこで、交流磁界印加試験を行い着磁磁界の減衰を観測するとともに、超伝導体の電流-電圧特性を考慮した有限要素法に基づく数値解析を行った。本年度は新たにバルク体の不可逆温度を考慮した電流-電圧特性を解析条件に加えた。これらの結果、バルク超伝導体の表面付近では外部交流磁界の影響を受けるため臨界電流密度より高い遮へい電流が流れ、これが熱(交流損失)の発生、温度の上昇、着磁磁界の減衰を引き起こすことが明らかとなった。
2.浮上搬送装置の基礎特性評価:本年度は、浮上・案内特性の向上を図るため、2つのバルク超伝導体を対向させたシステムについて、実験と数値シミュレーションに基づく評価を行った。その結果、永久磁石と超伝導バルク体を対向させた場合に比べ、大幅な特性向上が見込まれることがわかった。
3.リニアアクチュエータの試作・特性評価:バルク超伝導体を用いたリニア・アクチュエータの特性を明らかにすることを目的とし、両側式の短二次リニア・アクチュエータを試作した。本年度は特に着磁したバルク超伝導体をリニア・アクチュエータの二次側走行子に適用し、その両側を銅板で挟んだ構造にすることで誘導始動型のリニア同期アクチュエータとし、その特性を実験的に検証した。
4.真空断熱容器の開発:バルク超伝導応用のための真空断熱装置の開発を目指し、MSIクライオスタットの試作・特性評価を行った。同時に数値シミュレーションコードを開発し、その妥当性を検証した上で、これを用いて浮上搬送装置用クライオスタットの設計を試み、良好な結果を得た。
