研究概要	南アジア地域から採集した野生イネ遺伝資源データベース構築にむけた1次情報の集積をすすめるために、本年度は昨年度に引き続き、研究代表者および分担者は以下の課題について調べた。佐藤雅志および佐藤洋一郎は、タイ国パトンタニのイネ研究所に株保存されているO.rufipogon(AAゲノム)を約100系統のDNAをイネ研究所で抽出し持ち帰り、それらの材料をも加え配布し1次情報の取りまとめをすすめた。上埜喜八は、籾の長いAAゲノム種の系統に比較して短い系統は葉色に見られる低温抵抗性が弱いことを見出した。秋本正博は、ミトコンドリアDNAの多型解析の結果、BBCCゲノムを持つ2種は多元的に起源し、それぞれの分化には異なるCCゲノム種が関与したことを示唆した。石川隆二は、Oryza属の種を識別するマーカーとして、Gリピートのみられた第3イントロン領域を標的として調査をすすめ、方法をほぼ確立した。この方法でえられたデータは、採取後の維持管理ならびに現地採取後の種の簡易判定に用いることができると結論した。中村郁郎は、葉緑体DNA上のrpl16 - rpl14遺伝子間領域(PSID ; Plastid subtype identity)配列およびRNAポリメラーゼI遺伝子(PolI)のイントロン配列の多型を解析し、葉緑体PSID配列および核のPolI遺伝子SNP多型はイネ系統を特徴づける有効な情報になるとを見出した。宍戸理恵子は、ミャンマー国から採集してきたAAゲノム種について、FISH方を用いて45S rRNA遺伝子の体細胞染色体上へのマッピングをおこない、その遺伝子のサイト数に変異が見出された。石井尊生は、AAゲノム種に分類される5野生種について、葉緑体ゲノムサテライト座における多様性について調査し、平均0.34と以前に調べた栽培イネの0.28に比較して高かった。佐藤洋一郎は、Oryza属の種や率統を判別するための情報となる種子の画像データを収集し、穎の色、芒の有無および長さ、護頴の有無やその長さ、ふ毛の有無、長さ、密度などについて解析した。
