研究概要

今年度は本調査の最終年度にあたり、引き続き、資料・情報のきわめて少ないベトナムの昆虫相の調査研究を行った。日本を含む東アジアの昆虫相の成立に重要と思われる分類群を明らかにし、系統分類学的解析や動物地理学的検討を行い、日本の昆虫相の起源を探ることを目的とし、成果のとりまとめを行っている。
現地調査は4月23日にハノイに入り、生物資源生態学研究所を訪れ調査日程の調整をし、4月25日にホーチミン市から南部のダラットとバオロクの山岳地帯、5月5日に中部のバックマー国立公園、5月11日から北部のタムダオ国立公園と山岳地帯のサパで調査を行い、蛾類、甲虫類、ハエ類、クモ類を中心に資料を収集し5月24日に帰国した。南部のダラットとバオロクの森林にはマレー系の昆虫が多かったが、固有種も発見できたし、ベトナム北部や中国と関連する種も発見することができた。中部のバックマー国立公園でも固有の種は少なくなかったが、北部との関連は南部より深い。北部山岳地帯のサパでは、ヒマラヤ系のものが多く、中国を経て日本にまで来ている昆虫が多く、今回の調査でも興味深い成果があった。また、それぞれの地域で、これまでほとんど実施していなかったFIT(フライト・インターセプト・トラップ)による調査を行った。その結果、多数の鞘翅類、特にハネカクシ類、コガネムシ類が多数採集された。この中にはこれまでの調査では得られなかった種が多数含まれている。
得られた資料は、これまでの調査で得られた資料とともに研究に供され、半翅目昆虫(Tomokuni & Cai,2002;Kurosu & Aoki,2003),膜翅目ハバチ科(Shinohara,2003),双翅目ニクバエ科(Shinonaga & Thinh,2003),鱗翅目蛾類(Sato,2003;Owada et al.,2003),鞘翅目アリヅカムシ科(Hlavac & Nomura,2003;Nomura,2003),コケムシ科(Jaloszynski et al.,2003)の論文を公表したほか、蛾類を2編、ハエ類1編、鞘翅目2編を印刷中である。
