高選択的な金属イオンの認識・分離系の設計

研究概要	キレート抽出系では、金属錯体への中性ルイス塩基の付加により、金属イオンの抽出率が増大する「協同効果」がよく知られている。クラウンエーテル類のような中性大環状配位子も協同効果試薬として作用する。クラウンエーテル類はその環の大きさにより、ユニークなイオンサイズ選択性を有する。分子内シナジストとしてクラウン環を有するアシルピラゾロン類を合成し、種々の金属イオンの抽出・分離性を検討した。 dibenzo-16-crown-5又はdibenzo-19-crown-6を側鎖に有する1a-b、及び12-crown-4、15-crown-5、18-crown-6を側鎖に有する2a-cを合成した。アルカリ金属イオンは1a、2bではNa^+>K^+>Li^+、lb、2cではK^+>Na^+>Li^+の順に抽出された。HPMBPとTOPOによる協同抽出では、Li^+>Na^+>K^+の順であることから、1a-bや2a-cでは、クラウン部分によるイオンサイズ選択性の効果が大きいと考えられる。アルカリ土類金属イオンでは、クラウン部分のイオンサイズ選択性とβジケトン部分のキレート生成の選択性の両方に依存し、相殺し合ったために選択性が低下した。2価遷移金属イオンの抽出挙動はIrving-Williamsの系列に従わず、きわめて特異的であった。laではPb^<2+>>Mn^<2+>>Cd^<2+>>Cu^<2+>>Zn^<2+>>Co^<2+>>Ni^<2+>の順となり、通常のキレート系では抽出の困難なPb^<2+>、Mn^<2+>、Cd^<2+>の抽出性が飛躍的に増大した。同様の現象はHPMBPとbenzo-15-crown-5、benzo-18-crown-6による協同抽出系でも見られた。有機相中での金属錯体へのベンゾクラウンエーテルの付加反応を調べたところ、Pb、Mn、Cd錯体への付加生成定数は他の金属錯体に比べてきわめて大きいことが分かった。クラウンエーテル類はこれら2価遷移金属イオンとは安定な錯生成をしないことが知られている。キレート錯体への特異的な付加反応の存在が示唆された。
