統計的データ解析における影響診断の研究

研究概要

・クックの局所影響法はこれまで尤度関数が陽に記述できる場合について定式化・導出されてきた(たとえば、因子分析、共分散構造分析)が、正準相関分析や主成分分析のように、関心のあるパラメータが尤度関数でなく制約式に含まれる場合について導き、その結果は、因子分析などの場合のように、以前からわれわれの提唱している"影響関数に基づく影響分析の一般的方法"の複数観測値診断で利用される"V^-(Vはパラメータ推定量の共分散行列)をメトリックとするPCA"によって得られる結果と同じであることを示した(Tanaka, Y.et al., Comm.Statist.-Theory ＆ Methods, 2002; Tanaka, Y.et al., Comp. Statist.＆ Data Anal., to appear)。これは目的の項で述べた一般的理論の研究にあたる。これによって局所影響の適用範囲がかなり拡大した。また実施計画の1の一部が達成された。
・実施計画の2では前進探索型のロバスト法を提唱し、その成果を国際計算機統計学会のアジア地区大会(於:釜山、2002-12)で発表した。
・実施計画の3の関数データ解析に関する研究も順調に進んでおり、地理的重みのついた重回帰分析についての数値的検討、関数主成分分析における影響診断について、国際計算機統計学会のアジア地区大会で発表した。多変量解析におけるマハラノビス距離(クックの距離)の関数データの場合への拡張として、関数データからサンプリングした多変量データのマハラノビス距離の極限の形で導入した。この考え方は主成分分析の場合だけでなく一般的に応用できると考えられる。
・実施計画4の独立成分分析については、脳波データ解析の立場から検討を行ったが、影響診断については現在検討中である。
