研究概要	1.Radial curvature関数を持つモデルによってリーマン多様体のradial curvatureの下限が制約されているときの様々な比較定理が証明される事を初めて示した。F.Dillen教授等が編集したHandbook of Differential Geometryの第八章『Sphere Theorems』を担当し、球面定理に関する今迄の研究成果をレビューした。浙江大学の許洪偉教授との共同研究で、リーマン多様体の位相を部分多様体の立場から研究し、第二基本形式から定まる様々な量を用いて球面定理や剛性定理を証明した。 2.曲率の下限に制限をもつ非有界完備リーマン多様体のコンパクト化を研究し、M.グロモフが導入したティッツ理想境界(無限遠点)を空間のスケーリングにより具体化させた。特に塩濱・町頭らが研究を進めている、最短線の接方向の断面曲率に制限をもつリーマン多様体のクラスを扱った。CAT(0)空間における半直線の漸近類を、自然な形で非負曲率・非有界完備リーマン多様体へ導入出来ることは知られていた。今回の研究では、CAT(0)空間を比較空間にもつリーマン多様体のクラスに対し半直線の漸近類が意味を持つことを確認し、多様体の1/t-スケーリング極限がグロモフ-ハウスドルフ位相で理想境界上の錐に収束することを示した。この収束定理により、ティッツ理想境界の内部距離構造を調べ、多様体の位相有限性・endsの個数の評価に成功した。 3.拡散過程の系列が必ずしも連続な経路を持たない確率過程に収束する状況を、斜積過程の枠組みで一般的に解明した。詳しくは、ディリクレ形式を用いて定式化するが、有限次元分布の収束には時刻変更の理論を組織的に用いる。豊富な例が含まれる。 4.ある単体上の拡散過程に対し、可逆定常分布の具体形を与えた。
