研究概要	内分泌かく乱物質は、様々な生物種に対して影響を及ぼすと考えられ、その影響も種によって異なることが報告されてきている。こうした種差を踏まえつつ内分泌かく乱物質の影響を明確にするために、種々の生物を用いて解析を進めている。哺乳動物としてマウス、ラット、爬虫類としてアメリカワニ、両生類としてアマガエル、アフリカツメガエル、ツチガエル、魚類としてゼブラフィッシュ、カダヤシ、マミチョグ、無脊椎動物としてイボニシ、ミジンコおよびセンチュウを用いて、エストロゲン類似作用をもつ化学物質の発生影響を、遺伝子レベルで明らかにしてきている。マウスおよびアフリカツメガエル、センチュウではマイクロアレイを用いて発現変動する遺伝子について解析をすすめ、その作用機構の解明を進めている。エストロゲンにより発現が変動する遺伝子と内分泌かく乱物質により発現が変動する遺伝子を比較検討することにより、内分泌かく乱物質は特有の機構で遺伝子発現を変化させていることが明らかになりつつある。またミジンコでは、cDNAライブラリーから遺伝子断片を解読し、部分配列の整理を行っている。一方、魚類や爬虫類からは、核内受容体遺伝子のクローニングとその構造の解明をすすめており、種特異的な反応性を解明するための手段としている。これらクローニングした遺伝子の特性や機能を解明するために、培養細胞などにこれらの遺伝子を導入し、評価するシステムも構築している。
