高周期14族元素カチオン性多中心錯体の合成と機能

研究概要	申請者は、ケイ素、ゲルマニウムからなる不飽和小員環化合物を前駆体とする高周期14族元素環状カチオン種の合成の合成に成功し、その構造、反応性を検討してきた。本研究では、ゲルマニウムからなる2π電子系芳香族カチオン種であるシクロトリゲルメニリウムイオンの反応性を検討した。シクロトリゲルメニリウムイオンを過剰のハロゲン化カリウムと反応させることで対応するハロゲン置換シクロトリゲルメンを合成、単離することに成功した。それらのうち、臭素、ヨウ素を置換基とするシクロトリゲルメンでは、ゲルマニウム-ハロゲン反結合性σ軌道とゲルマニウム=ゲルマニウム二重結合上のπ軌道間の相互作用に起因したゲルマニウム=ゲルマニウム二重結合周りの著しいシス折れ曲がり構造が発現していることが明らかとなった。さらに、ヨウ素置換シクロトリゲルメンを前駆体としてゲルマニウム原子10個から骨格が形成されているクラスター状カチオン種を得ることに成功した。X線結晶構造解析の結果、フリーなゲルマニウムカチオン種であり、10個のゲルマニウム骨格原子のうち、7つは置換基を有する4配位であるのに対し、残りの3つは置換基を持っていないことが明らかとなった。置換基を持たない3つのゲルマニウム原子間では3中心2電子結合を形成し、正電荷が3つのゲルマニウム上に非局在化したトリスホモ共役を発現していると推定され、モデル化合物の理論計算からも示唆された。
