気体の方程式系の解の漸近挙動と非線形波の安定性に関する研究

研究概要

気体の運動を記述するいくつかの方程式系に対し、解の時間無限大での漸近挙動とそこに現れる非線形波の漸近安定性を調べ、次のような成果を得た。
1)空間n次元の粘性的保存則方程式に対し、L^p型のソボレフ空間W^{1,p}におけるエネルギー法を適用し、全空間における希薄波の漸近安定性を示すとともに、その摂動部分に対するW^{1,p}ノルムでの最良の時間減衰評価を与えた。
2)熱平衡状態への緩和過程を取り入れた気体モデルの緩和的双曲型保存則系に対し、エントロピー関数の存在の下でChapman-Enskog型理論を展開し、第2次近似として得られるナビエ・ストークス型方程式系の数学的構造を明らかにした。特に、両者のエントロピー関数が対応すること、互いの安定性条件が同値であることを確かめた。これは、希薄気体のボルツマン方程式に対して知られている古典的な事実の一般化とみなされる。
3)空間n次元の緩和的双曲型保存則系に対し、エントロピーに付随する消散的構造を明らかにし、その消散的効果と安定性条件の下で、L^2型ソボレフ空間に属する小さい時間大域解の存在を示した。さらに、その解に対するL^2型ソボレフノルムでの最良の時間減衰評価を与えた。証明の鍵は線形系の解の減衰評価を求めることにあるが、それはフーリエ空間におけるエネルギー法に基づいて成された。
