高安全性高信頼性を持つモバイルマルチメディア分散システムの管理及び評価法の研究

研究概要

社会の基盤となりつつであるモバイルマルチメディア分散システムにおける安全性と信頼性はますます重要になっている。本研究では、システムの信頼性、安全性の視点からシステムの資源管理を総合的に行うものである。従来の資源管理はただシステムスループット等の基本的な性能に着目してシステムの最適化をはかる技術である。本研究では、システムの信頼性と安全性に対する資源管理影響を明らかにし、新しい資源管理技術を確立する。システムの基本性能だけではなく、システムの信頼性と安全性を統合的に考慮したモバイルマルチメディアネットワーク管理の技術、システムの構築技術とその開発環境に関する研究は国際的にも先駆的であり、次世代のインターネット技術及びその応用(電子商取引など)技術の確立に大いに貢献できる。また、本研究により開発されたシステム評価などのソフトウェアには実際のモバイルマルチメディアネットワーク管理及び評価に使うことが期待できる。
今年度は特に、Mobile IPを含むモバイルマルチメディア分散システムの移動性管理モデルを確立し、その数学的な解析解と性能評価のシミュレータの開発を行った。また、その高度の分散システムの安全性と信頼性を考慮した総合的な評価及び管理のモデルについて国際的に研究調査と検討を行った。
