研究概要

社会の基盤となりつつであるモバイルマルチメディア分散ネットワークシステムにおける安全性、信頼性と性能はますます重要になっている。本研究では、システムの信頼性、安全性及び性能の視点からモバイルマルチメディアネットワークシステムの管理(移動性管理、資源管理など)及び評価を総合的に行うものである。従来のシステムの管理及び評価の手法は、システムスループット等の基本的な性能に着目してシステムの最適化をはかる技術である。本研究では、信頼性、安全性及び性能がモバイルマルチメディアネットワークシステムに対する影響を明らかにし、新しい管理及び評価技術の確立を目指している。システムの基本性能だけではなく、システムの信頼性と安全性を統合的に考慮したモバイルマルチメディアネットワーク管理及び評価に関する研究及びその開発環境に関する研究は国際的にも先駆的であり、次世代のインターネット技術及びその応用(電子商取引など)技術の確立に貢献することを目指している。
今年度は、次世代(3G)のモバイルマルチメディアセルラーネットワーク、及びモバイルIPv6分散ネットワークの移動性管理モデルの確立と、その数学的な解析解とシステム評価のシミュレーションの開発を行った。さらに、モバイルアドホックネットワークなどの高度化したモバイルマルチメディア分散ネットワークシステムの安全性と信頼性を考慮した総合的な評価及び管理のモデルについて国際的に研究調査と検討を行った。
