研究概要	この研究課題において、我々は、ウェブキャッシングとウェブサービスの複製を通じてスケーラブルウェブサーバーをデザインする新しい手法と技術の分析を行い、これら技術全てを一つに統合し様々なレベルでのウェブサーバーの拡張縮小可能な機能の模範を確立する。研究活動我々は何度かの中国・オーストラリアへの出張で、主要研究機関を訪れ協力者とともに資料収集や研究打合せ、研究する上での意見交換を行った。また、研究補助として博士後期課程生徒1名の雇用、アメリカ合衆国、オーストラリアからそれぞれ1名の研究者を招聘した。研究成果我々はこれまでにスケーラブルウェブサーバーのデザインと分析関して研究を行いその成果を9部の研究論文として完成させ、4部を国際ジャーナルへ提出、うち5部を以下の国際会議で発表・Workshop on High Performance Switching and Routing (神戸、2002)1件・The Fifth IEEE International Conference on Algorithms and Architecture for Parallel Processing (Beijing,中国)1件・Technical Conference on Computers, Communications, Control, and Power Engineering (Beijing,中国)2件・International Workshop on Cluster and Cooperative Computing (Sanya,中国)1件この研究課題に取り組み始めて以来、我々は期待通り納得のいく成果をあげている。我々が科学研究費補助金の支援のもと成し遂げた実績は以下のとおりである。今後について本研究課題により築かれた中国・オーストラリアとの協力関係、研究活動を通じて今後も進展させていく予定である。
