組合せ的デザイン理論を用いた光直交符号の構成に関する研究

研究概要

光直交符号と密接に関連しているt-difference packing (t-DP)の構成は大変難しい問題である。また組合せ的デザインを様々な符号や暗号の構成に応用することも簡単ではない。平成14年度は、このプロジェクトに関しての広範な準備を行った。組合せ論、符号理論、暗号理論及び関連諸分野の調査研究・資料収集・情報交換を行った。
繆、藤原、三嶋は最適(最大符号語数を持つことと対応する)t-DPにおける既知の構成方法の違いを調べ、組合せ的デザインの代数的性質を用いて、より良い手法を探して来た。不完備差行列(incomplete difference matrix)といった組合せ構造及びcharacter sumに関するWeilの定理などを利用して,重みが4の最適光直交符号の無限系列を構成した(研究発表:9,11)。
暗号システムにおける秘密分散法とは、ある秘密鍵に関する情報を分散配布し、そのうちのいくつかがそろわないと秘密鍵が再製できないようにしたものである。膠は、差集合族(difference family)により、ある種の秘密分散法を特徴付けた。この特徴付けに基づき、この種の秘密分散法を数多く構成した(研究発表:10)。
一方、篠原は3次元射影幾何上のconicの研究を行った。互いに交点数が2以下のconicをできるだけ多く集めることに集中することで、最適に近いconicの集合を発見した(研究発表:12,13)。
また、組合せ的デザイン理論に関する基礎研究及びそのほかの応用研究についても、結果を数多く発表した(研究発表:1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8)。
