研究概要

「コンピュータを活用した作用素不等式とスペクトルの研究」の研究課題遂行のため、5月にポーランドで開催された研究集会「Topologocal algebras, their applications, and related results」には長宗雄が参加し「Mosaic and principal functions of p-hyponormal operators」の題名で講演を行った。6月、韓国で開催された研究集会「KOTAC2003 Operator Theory and Its Applications」には古田孝之が参加し「Operator inequalities derived from new formula that Specht ratio S(1)can be expressed by generalized Kantorovich constant K(p):S(1)=e^<K(1)>」の題名で講演を行った。8月には韓国から二人の研究者Woo Young LeeとIl Bong Jungに来日いただき、共著の論文「On Aluthge transform of p-hyponormal operators」のチェックを行い、引き続き共同研究を行った。12月にアメリカで開催された研究集会「International Conference on Matrix Analysis and Applications」に古田孝之が参加し「Parametric extensions of Shannon inequality and its reverse one in Hilbert space operators via characterizations of operator concave functions」の題名で講演を行った。また、昨年来日いただいたSoltysiak氏との共同研究は7月にCommentationes Math.より論文「On approximate point spectrum of p-hyponormal and log-hyponormal operators」として出版した。本研究の分担者である、古谷正とは主にtrace公式に関係する問題について研究を進めている。11月、名古屋で開催された研究集会「作用素論・作用素環論研究会」においては「Trace formulae of operators」の題名で共同発表を行った。また、同研究会で行われたプロブレム・セッションにおいて、本研究との関連で問題提起を行った。山崎丈明とは作用素の新しい変換とそれに関連するスペクトルの研究を共同で進めていて11月に開催された京都大学数理解析研究所での研究集会において研究発表を行った。
