研究概要

平成14年度前半は前年度からの継続としてoff-shell boundary及びcrossscap stateの構成、その性質の解明に力を注ぎ、中村(真)、大田(武志)と協力して2つの論文を記した。D-braneおよびorientifold planeのTensionの比が正しく出てくること等興味深い結果が得られた。しかしながらorientifold planeがphysical processを通じて果たしてdecay可能かという問いに対する結論は、いまだ得られていない。平成14年度後半は、当初の研究計画を変更して、Dijkgraaf-Vafaが提案したRiemann面とそれに付随するprepotentialを用いたN=1 超対称ゲージ理論のgluino consensationの物理を追求した。A. Morozovと協力して4本の論文を著した。第一論文では、Dijkgraaf-Vafaの提案を一般化されたSeiberg-Witten理論として初めて捕らえ、T moduliの重要性をいち早く指摘し、residue formulaその他を導入しWDVV方程式等を証明した。第二論文ではWDVV方程式の具体例を取り扱い、第三論文では、prepotentialへのinstantonからの最低次の補正を世界に先駆けて求めた。第四論文では、この計算をTmoduliからの計算として再定式化することに成功した。これらの仕事を踏まえて最近では、菅野と協力してDijkgraaf-Vafaにおけるprepotentialの一般論を構成することを検討している。
