協調エージェントを用いた大規模高速ネットワーク経路制御の研究

研究概要	近年のデータ通信の急速な普及に伴い、ネットワーク規模とその上を流れるトラヒックが急速に拡大している。しかし従来の集中して経路制御を行うアルゴリズムは、ネットワーク規模の急速な拡大への対応に問題があり、有線、無線を問わず、急増するトラヒックに対処するための効率の良い分散型の経路制御手法の開発が急務となっている。より高速なネットワークを実現するためのルーチング・アルゴリズムとしては、実時間処理における速さと、ネットワーク規模の拡大に柔軟に対処可能なスケーラビリティという二つの要求を満たす必要がある。我々の従来の研究では、インテリジェントなアルゴリズムの性能評価を比較的ローカルなネットワーク規模での性能評価を中心に行ったため、大規模で高速なネットワークへの適用手法と性能評価までには十分いたっていない。したがって,より大規模な高速ネットワークの制御運用のために、エージェントの概念を導入し、実際のシミュレーションシステムを構築し、性能評価を行うことが必要である。そこで、今回の研究として、ネットワーク・トラフィックの増加、QoS保証及びネットワーク・スケールの拡大の問題を解決するために協調エージェントに基づいた高速ネットワークのためのルーチング及び接続制御を統合した手法の開発をめざした。今回の研究では高速データネットワークの経路制御に、トラヒック制御のためファジイ理論や遺伝的アルゴリズムに基づく知的エージェントをどのように用いれば各ドメインごとの経路制御の最適化の積み重ねがネットワーク全体の効率の良い制御に結びつくかを研究した。研究の基本的アイディアは各ローカルドメイン内の経路制御を担当するエージェントとドメイン間経路制御を担当するエージェントに分け、ファジィ理論に基づく接続制御を行い、また経路制御はドメイン内に遺伝的アルゴリズムで、ドメイン間はエスカレーション手法により行う。これをシミュレーションした結果、それぞれのエージェントを効果的に用いることでエージェントが検索を行う空間を圧縮することができることがわかった。
