研究概要

国際地盤工学会(ISSMGE)の技術委員会TC29:「地盤材料の変形特性を求めるための応力〜ひずみ室内試験(Stress-Strain Testing of Geomaterials in the Laboratory)」は,1994年9月に設置された.活動のミッションは,(1)室内せん断試験装置・システム・基準の国際情報交換,(2)高精度な室内せん断試験方法に関する国際規準の提案,(3)室内試験結果の工学的適用に関する現状調査,である。
本研究(企画調査)の目的は、研究代表者、研究分担者および海外共同研究者各々の研究成果を集約する形で、TC29が主催する「地盤材料の変形特性に関する国際シンポジウム(IS-Lyon)」を国際的にサポートすることにあった。このシンポジウムでは、海外研究協力者のDi Benedetto教授(フランス)が実行委員会委員長となり、研究代表者および研究分担者の一部が実行委員会学術部会の部員としてシンポジウムの企画に奔走した。高度な室内試験(advanced laboratory tets)をキーワードとし,地盤材料の室内試験の現状と結果の工学的適用を主たるテーマとして開催を企画した.平成14年度末の段階で200編近くの個人論文の投稿があり、査読を終わっている。本研究の関係者から20編を越える論文が投稿されている。また、会議当日の総括報告者・座長等の人選および投稿論文の査読を分担し、当該シンポの企画に多大な貢献をした。今後、地盤工学会論文報告集特集号(2003年8月号,Vol.43,No.4)および会議議事録が研究成果として公表される予定である.
