偏微分方程式に対する代用電荷法の発展に関する研究

研究概要

本研究の研究目的は、科学技術計算に現れる偏微分方程式問題の数値解法である代用電荷法(基本解法とも呼ばれる)に対し、従来不得意とされていた問題に適用可能となるよう解法の改良を行い、代用電荷法の発展を目指すことである。そして本年度の研究において次の実績を得た。
1.周期的領域における偏微分方程式問題に対する代用電荷法(交付申請書「研究計画・方法」平成14年度参照)。
この研究は、従来代用電荷法が適用困難とされてきた周期的境界値問題に対し、代用電荷法を改良し適用可能とするものである。本年度はとくに、周期的3次元領域における低Reynolds数粘性流(Stokes流)問題を扱った。この問題に対し、代用電荷法の近似解として周期的基本解(周期的に配置されたソースから生成される基本解)の一次結合を用いる方法を提案した。そして、この方法に対する数値実験を、周期的に配置された球配列をすぎるStokes流の問題に対して行い、速度場および球体に働く力の計算を十分な精度で行なえることを確かめた。
2.角点・尖点をもつ領域の問題に対する代用電荷法(交付申請書「研究計画・方法」平成15年度参照)。
この研究は、従来代用電荷法が適用困難とされてきた滑らかでない境界をもつ領域の問題に対し、代用電荷法を改良し適用可能とするものである。本年度はとくに、境界上に2個の角点をもつ内部複素領域の数値等角写像の問題を扱った。この問題に対し、代用電荷法による近似写像関数に角点の存在に起因する特異性をくりこんだ数値等角写像の方法を提案した。そして、いくつかの典型的な領域に対し数値実験を行い、従来の代用電荷法による方法に比べて精度の改善がみられることを確かめた。
