研究実績の概要 |
1.Improving photovoltaic performance of top subcell using phthalocyanine The BHJ OSCs utilizing non-peripherally substituted octahexyl phthalocyanine showed relatively high photovoltaic performance with PCEs exceeding 4.2%. However, the EQE (45%) at B-band was still low because of weak absorption of phthalocyanine at short-wavelength region. By replacing aza links by methine groups at meso position, the absorption at B-band was improved. As a result, the EQE at B-band was improved to 53% and PCEs were achieved 5.3%. Furthermore, the role of aza links at meso position was discussed. 2.Fabrication of interlayer (ZnO nanoparticles) ZnO nanoparticles were prepared as following: zinc actate dihydrate (1 g) was dissolved and stirred in methanol (40 mL) at 60° C for 30 min. A solution of potassium hydroxide in methanol (0.5g/20 mL) was slowly added into the zinc actate dihydrate solution (It took about 10 to 15 min to completely add the KOH solution). Then the reaction mixture was stirred at 60° C for 2 h. The resulting solution was washed and transfered into a plastic tube and then centrifuged to separate the precipitate and mother liquor. The electronic and optical proper ties of the fabricated ZnO were estimated. 3.All-solution processed Tandem solar cell: The Tandem solar cell with structures ofITO/PEDOTPSS/P3HT:BISPCBM/ZnO(nanoparticle)/PEDOTPSS/C6TBTAPH2:PCBM/Al have been fabricated. Herein, all of layer was fabricated by using wetting processes. It exhibited that the open-circuit voltage was improved to 1.39 V and PCE of 3.2% was achieved with tandem structure.

The top subcell have been fabricated and optimized. Although the PCEs of Tandem solar cell was still low, the experimental procedures were figured out.

今後の研究の推進方策 |
Improving photovoltaic performance of Tandem solar cell: Although the fabricated Tandem solar cell exhibited the high Voc of 1.39 V, the Jsc and fill fact is still low. To achieve high PCEs, the photovoltaic performance of bottom subcell will be improved by vapor treatment and thermal annealing, and the interlayer will also be modified. Furthermore, the new acceptor with higher LUMO level will be utilized to get higher Voc.
