太陽光下の水環境系における光機能界面での活性酸素の生成と計測

研究概要

本研究は、自然界の太陽光下水環境系での光機能界面モデルとして,光照射下の空気・水溶液界相を設定し,この界相での活性酸素の生成の検証及びそのための新たな検出法の開発を目的として行われ、次の成果を得た。
1.H_2O_2は窒素雰囲気下では生成せず,酸素雰囲気下で生成し,その生成速度はpHに依存し、クロモフォアとして機能する腐植酸(humic acid、HA)の濃度が高いほどH_2O_2の生成速度は大きい。また、H_2O_2の生成速度は照射する光の波長に大きく依存し,同じエネルギーの光を照射した場合,可視光に比べて紫外光を照射した場合にH_2O_2の生成速度ははるかに大きく、光量とともにH_2O_2の生成量は増加することを明らかにした。
2.昨年度開発したO_2^-センサを用いて,O_2^-の生成を確認した。
3.海水の標準化学組成からなる水溶液においては,クロモフォア(HA、フェノールなど)が存在しないとH_2O_2は生成しないことを明らかにし、さらに海水を用いてH_2O_2の生成を確認した。
4.redox-potential bufferとしてl^-/l_3^-レドックス系を用いて,H_2O_2、過酢酸などの過酸化物の定量を可能にする新たな検出装置の開発に成功し,その商品化をすすめた。この検出装置は各種水溶液中の過酸化物,酸化剤の定量分析に使用できることを明らかにした。
