研究概要	本研究課題では、初年度は研究対象として、まず(A-1)ミクロンからサブミクロンオーダーで電子線リソグラフィ技術によって超微細加項を施したパーマロイ強磁性薄膜量子細線(1次元配列系)、(A-2)セミマクロスケールで群論的な縮重機能をもつ量子タイル(2次元配列人工格子型薄膜パーマロイ強磁性体集合系)をモデル系として採用し、スビン集合系の数・幾何学的な形状と配列・群論的な対称性を制御した磁気双極子スピン波の伝播特性を明らかにすることを目的に行った。ここでは、これまでのKittel modeやWalker modeに由来するスピン波の強磁性共鳴の線幅が極めて小さい(1ガウス以下)強磁性YIGの微細加工超格子系を新たな量子スピン波の観測対象とする研究課題にも取り組んだ。YIG系は、マイクロ波外部輻射場に対する顕著な非線形現象を示す可能性があり、磁気双極子スビン波由来のスビン乱流の出現条件を解明することが,最も重要な課題となる。また、得られる情報は、今後「液体マグネット」の設計などと根本的に関連するが、新たに「強誘電性スピン協同系」の短距離秩序相の磁気的な構造・現象を解明する端緒を見つけることを最終目標にした研究を実施した。本年度は、CW電子スピン強磁性共鳴法によって、A-1、A-2の磁気構造を解明した。A-1の構造については、薄膜に垂直な方向に観測されてきた従来までのスピン波Walker modeに対して、量子細線の横方向に励起されたスピン定在波(lateral Walker mode)を強磁性共鳴法によってはじめて見出した。また、強磁性量子細線をミクロンオーダーで1次元的に配列した人工超格子系では、細線間の巨大な磁気双極子相互作用に由来する半巨視的な量子協同現象を見出した。解析から得られた磁気的なパラメータは、超格子構造を考慮した理論計算と一致した。(718字)
