研究概要	デンドリマー・微粒子ハイブリッドの1次元及び2次元組織体及び線形高分子との高次ハイブリッドを構築し、マルチ機能センサーや環境低負荷システムとしての能力を明らかにすることが本研究の課題である。これまで個別に研究してきたデンドリマーと微粒子を複合し、新たな機能性を見出そうとした。二次凝集を回避するために、我々は親水性樹木状高分子を保護剤として微粒子の被覆処理を施し、触媒作用の高い金や銀のナノ微粒子と光触媒機能をもつ酸化チタンナノ微粒子の合成を行った。微粒子の大きさと安定性はデンドリマーの世代の違いよりも金属イオンとデンドリマーの混合比に依存し、デンドリマーの割合が多いほどサイズの小さな分散性の高い微粒子が生成した。酸化チタン微粒子を用いて水汚染物質の光分解を行ったところ、反応率は非被覆酸化チタン微粒子分散液より2倍以上高く、世代数が大きいほど反応性は向上した。水溶性酸化チタン微粒子を取り囲む樹木状高分子は保護剤であるとともにゲスト分子をドープする層として機能したと考えられる。本研究で合成した酸化チタン微粒子は水溶液中での準触媒物質として有効であり、環境負荷低減材料として期待できる。そこで、水溶液中での光触媒の生成物の除去が可能なマルチ機能センサーとして作用するように設計したシステムを環境問題に絡む物質(水汚染物質、ダイオキシンなど)を光触媒によって分解するリサイクルシステム(環境低負荷システム)へ展開することを次年度の課題として目ろんでいる。
