研究実績の概要 |
The difficulties with defining a successful imaging protocol for the cell line used in this project have eventually been overcome and, although this took a little longer than expected, we have been able to proceed quite rapidly with the imaging experiments. The fellow has a manuscript in progress that will be able to completed after her return to Australia. As there is only have 1 month remaining on this fellowship, the fellow is reaching the end of experimental work here in Japan. The current status of her research is as follows. 1) Submission of manuscript for a project begun in Australia and completed in Japan with new technique established in the host laboratory during year 1 of the fellowship. 2) Refinement of a protocol for confocal imaging of the human neuronal cell line being used for the current project. 3) Learned new Reprogramming techniques for analysing m6A RNA modification by next-generation sequencing data. 4) Learned protein analysis techniques that have revealed unexpected and exciting information about the translation control pathways used in response to neuronal activity. 5) Co-author on a manuscript about to be submitted by the host lab. 6) Manuscript in progress from own project.
