Presented a paper in the first Tale of Sagoromo panel at Association for Japanese Literary Studies annual international conference.
Catalogued and photographed 31 titles including 50 individual volumes and two scrolls at the Art Institute of Chicago. Highlights of the collection include several kimono pattern books, and a beautiful reproduction of the Saga-bon Thirty Six Poetic Immortals. Have researched bibliographic data and completed data entry for each item surveyed at Art Institute Chicago.
Surveyed the Illustrated Tale of Genji Scrolls at the Seattle Asian Art Museum. These five separate scrolls cover the full 54 chapters of the Tale of Genji with passages of varying length and a picture for each chapter. Identified all scenes and completed transcription of 25% of the text.

理由
The Survey Trip in 2015 produced exceptional results and objects for study over the next year. Two monographs for articles are ready for publication and the basis for several presentations have already been completed. Next year will focus on publishing the results and presenting at conferences. The paper given at Association for Japanese Literary Studies in October 2015 will be published as a chapter in an edited volume on the Tale of Sagoromo in 2016.

| 今後の研究の推進方策 |
Over the next year, a preliminary study of the Illustrated Tale of Genji, a comparative study of Thirty Six Poetic Immortals in American Collections and a study of the historical women of the Genji Hiinakata will be published. As well as the following study trips and participation in International Conferences.
