During 2017, I reviewed the literature regarding heritage language, computer assisted language learning and migration. I participated in the conferences “Global Perspectives in Changing Local Landscapes” and in the “Third International Conference on Heritage/Community Languages”.
I prepared a booklet and a website for parents and heritage language speakers based on my research findings. They aim to provide practical resources, information on linguistics and materials available, in addition to maintaining the cultural background. The website intends to use technological devices to access to Spanish language resources. During my research trips, I distributed the booklets and explained the web site to the Peruvian and the Japanese community members.
