研究課題
近年、モバイルデバイスの爆発的な普及により、モバイルデバイスとクラウドコンピューティングの融合が進み、モバイルクラウドという新しいコンピューティング技術が注目を集めている。しかしながら、モバイルクラウドは大変注目されているにも関わらず、実現までに乗り越えなければいけない課題がいくつある。本研究はモバイルクラウドの3つの根幹技術の研究を目標に掲げ研究を進めた。１つ目はモバイルクラウドにおけるQuality of Green(QoG)、つまり、モバイルデバイスとクラウドの間の省エネなアルゴリズムの設計である。２つ目はQuality of Experience(QoE)、つまり、モバイルクラウドにおけるユーザ体感品質の提供である。３つ目はQuality of Protection(QoP)、つまり、モバイルクラウドにおけるセキュリティとプライバシーの保証である。以上の３つの問題を解決するための、最適なアルゴリズム、モデル、プロトコル、アーキテクチャを学術的観点から設計・比較・評価を行った。得られた研究成果の一部は、論文としてまとめて、国際的な学術論文誌や国際会議の場で発表を行った。最終年度は、モバイルクラウドにおけるQoPについて研究した。モバイルクラウドにおいてユーザーは居場所を正確に更新することによってより細かなサービスを享受できる一方、プライバシーが漏洩する可能性がある。また、モバイルクラウドにおける認証について、端末のリソースの制限から、処理の重い暗号化などは向いていない。本研究は、ユーザーの移動・電話の使用パターンからユーザーのセキュリティの保護に応用できるアルゴリズムを研究した。また、往年度に設計したアルゴリズムを取り入れながら、総合的に性能評価を行い、提案するプロトコルがQoG、QoE、QoP保証と総合的に実現できることを確認した。
