Recorded data of Burmese speakers was annotated by 2 student RAs, 160 hours of work. This data will be analyzed in June 2018 and later published.
Results using Psychoacoustic Roughness to measure creaky voice in Zhuang were presented at SICSS in Seoul (Nov. 10-11, 2017). Additionally, I presented on methodology at the 336th Regular Meeting of the PSJ on Dec. 2, 2017.
Finally, Dr. Seunghun Lee and I traveled to Nanning, China from Mar. 18-23, 2018 to run a tone perception experiment. The results are currently being analyzed. Three publications are being prepared during 2018 based on this work.
