We successfully developed two important technologies, including: (1) high-performance digital signal processing algorithms for low-dispersion, low- out-of-band interference wideband signal transmission over a seamless fiber-wireless system. (2) a low-fiber dispersion transmission method for fiber-wireless systems in the millimeter-wave band using intermediate frequency over fiber and remote delivery of a high-quality local oscillator signal. Using the developed technologies, we successfully performed different proof-of-concept demonstrations on high-precision and wideband analog waveform signal transmission over seamless fiber-wireless systems. In particular, a 190-Gb/s CPRI-equivalent rate fiber-wireless system at 100 GHz for simultaneous transmission of LTE-A and filtered-OFDM signals were demonstrated and presented at ECOC 2016 conference. A simultaneous transmission of multiple radio signals in different frequency bands and mobile fronthaul signal in the MMW bands over a seamless fiber-wireless system was also demonstrated and presented at the OFC 2017 conference. The achieved results were published in academic journals (IEEE Communication Magazine, IEICE Electronic Express) and several international conferences, including three invited talks.
