I was able to publish two research papers: "Evaluating the Effects of Child Care Policies on Children's Cognitive Development and Maternal Labor Supply" in Journal of Human Resources (forthcoming) and "Assessing the Performance of Nonexperimental Estimators for Evaluating Head Start", Andrew S. Griffen and Petra E. Todd, Journal of Labor Economics. The success of the projects was because I was able to use the grant to visit Petra Todd (UPENN) and to use restricted use data housed at University of Pennsylvania. I also consulted with Dr. Rebecca Maynard (UPENN) on many aspects of the studies, which were very important for their completion.
