The project completed in 2018 with the one-year extension. As part of the plan to publicize the latest research result by the members of the collaborative network of the project on the Gargiiyajyotisa, a special panel was organized at the 17th World Sanskrit Conference held at the University of British Columbia (Vancouver, July 2018). In addition, the Proceedings of the International Conference "Traditional Sciences in Asia 2017 -- East-West Encounter in the Science of Heaven and Earth,” 京都大学国際シンポジウム: 天と地の科学 東と西の出会い held at Kyoto University (October, 2017) was published in March 2018 by the Institute for Research in Humanities, Kyoto University.
