情報通信産業では、「ネットビジネス」のモジュール化が進んでいる。「ネットビジネス」のモジュール化は、企業の通信事業への参入を促進したが、市場競争の激化ももたらした。本研究では、このようなビジネス環境を踏まえて、グループゲームというコンセプトを提案した。市場競争はたんなる二つの企業グループの親会社間の競争ではなく、各地域に散在する支社や子会社を巻き込んだ企業グループ間の競争となる。各企業グループにはそれぞれ企業全体の目標がある。しかしながら、各地域にある支社や子会社はグループ全体の目標を考えながら、地域ごとに定まった部分目標のために行動する。われわれはこのような競争をグループゲームと定義した。多くの数理モデルの中、グループゲームを記述するには、多パラメータの特異摂動システムモデルが適当だと考えた。したがって、多パラメータの特異摂動システムモデルを用いて、各種の動的ゲーム問題を定式化し、研究した。その結果、さまざまなゲームの均衡解を求める計算方法を提案した。具体的には、多パラメータの特異摂動システムにおける(1)ナッシュゲームに関する均衡解を求めるアルゴリズム、(2)協力ゲームに関するパレート解を求めるアルゴリズム、などを研究した。これらの問題を解決するには、さまざまな形をもつ大規模、連立Riccati方程式やLyapunov方程式を解かなければならない。本研究では、これらの方程式の解の漸近構造を陰関数定理によって明らかにした。解明された解の構造式を利用して、均衡解または近似戦略を求めるアルゴリズムを開発した。以上のように、本研究はまだ基礎研究の段階にある。今後、グループゲームのコンセプトを情報通信市場における価格競争やネットワーク投資競争に応用するつもりである。
