研究実績の概要 |
In order to to adapt space technology from EUSO mission to the LANFOS detector, in parallel with the planned detector simulations, we contributed to the Mini-EUSO assembly and calibration activities during 2017, namely we led the radiometric calibration of the additional data acquisition system held at NiPR in August 2017, and we took part to the integration of the Engeneering Model at the University of Rome Tor Vergata, Italy, in October 2017 (two weeks). We also finalized the version of the control software to be used. Moreover, we monitored as shifter the performance detector on board EUSO-SPB, a NASA super-pressure balloon launched in late April 2017, during its flight in order to assess the performances of silicon photomultipliers.
