研究実績の概要 |
Topic 1: Studied on the dynamic neighbouring participation of nitrogen lone pairs in the chromogenic control of Pt complexes with salicylaldehyde hydrazones as trans-coordinated bidentate ligands. Variations in the chromogenic behaviour were observed in terms of their absorption wavelengths, solvatochromism and acid-induced emission enhancement, all of which are controlled by structure-dependent changes in the d-π conjugation of the coordination platforms upon varying the participation of neighbouring mobile nitrogen lone pairs.
Topic 2: Focused on highly phosphorescent emission novel vaulted platinum complexes bearing unprecedented heteroaromatic platforms (imidazolylaldiminato and pyrazolylaldiminato) and understood the principles of emission enhancement in solution- and solid states.

1: 当初の計画以上に進展している
理由
Topic 1: I successfully studied effects of dynamic participation of neighbouring nitrogen lone pairs on the chromogenic behavior of trans-bis(salicylaldiminato)Pt(II) coordination platforms and this study was published on Dalton Transactions, 2016, 45, 19257-19268.
Topic 2: I prepared various highly phosphorescent emission chiral polymethylene-vaulted trans-bis(2-imidazolylaldiminato)platinum(II) complexes, and I found novel phenomenon of association-induced emission enhancement that can be generated upon dimeric association of these complexes in solution and solid states. The research results will provide significant information not only for basic research into the correlation between molecular structure/packing and photophysical behavior but also on the future light emitting devices.

今後の研究の推進方策 |
I am summarizing for 2 publications of chiral polymethylene-vaulted trans-bis(2-imidazolylaldiminato)platinum(II) complexes. One is emission enhancement controlled by association chirality of vaulted trans-bis(2-imidazolylaldiminato)platinum(II) complexes. The other is solid-state shosphorescence of vaulted trans-bis(2-imidazolylaldiminato)platinum(II) complexes: crystal design for intense emission based on controlled homo- and heterochiral molecular alignment.
Besides, to continue topic 2, I am studying on chiral polymethylene-vaulted trans-bis(pyrazolylaldiminato)platinum(II) complexes which emit highly phosphorescent emission both in solution and solid states due to the existence of intra-molecular hydrogen bonding of N on pyrazole rings and H of alkyl linker.
