In the academic year 2019, I was successful in completing another editorial project, which is is an anthology with contributions from ten leading international scholars on rationality in vague language use (see below), including an introduction authored by me. In conclusion of my project, I organised a workshop with domestic and international researchers with the title “Rationality, Representation, and Reality” at the University of Tokyo in December 2018. My most recent research on self-communication and on formal epistemology was presented in Japan (Hiroshima University), Germany (University of Hamburg), and Singapore (Nanyang Technological University, and the National University of Singapore). My invitations to two international researchers that were funded on the basis of my Kakenhi Grant (1. Dr Aviv Hoffmann, Hebrew University of Jerusalem, Nov 28-Dec 19, 2018; 2. Prof. Nicholas J.J. Smith, University of Sydney, February 11-24, 2019) offered me an the opportunity to discuss the results of my research project on vagueness with two experts on metaphysics and the philosophy of language.
