理由
"Using Lego Serious Play teaching methodology to enhance communication skills and problem solving processes for Japanese learners at Model United Nations Conferences" is proceeding more smoothly than expected because:
1. Co-investigator Thorpe was able to design an application for and to use Lego Serious Play at the Japan English Model United Nations Conference in June 2016. Furthermore, Principal Investigator Sheehan and co-investigator Thorpe were able to study the use of LSP in two other educational settings: a Corporate-Problem Solving Conference and a Lego Serious Play workshop. Furthermore, Principal Investigator Sheehan will receive LSP Facilitator training from May 29-June 1, and design an application of LSP at the 2017 Japan English Model United Nations Conference.

| 今後の研究の推進方策 |
After LSP facilitator training and application of LSP at the 2017 Japan English Model United Nations, the researchers will have seen the application of LSP in a variety of settings and have an opportunity to examine the survey data and see in which areas LSP was effective and in which areas improvement needs to occur. Furthermore, the researchers will present findings at an international conference in September of 2017 and also publish an article in 2017. By examining the processes, presenting on them and writing about them, the research team should have a diverse set of data (both survey and video) to continue to find ways to apply LSP in educational settings.

| 次年度使用額が生じた理由 |
In year two, the Investigators will collect data from video-based interaction analysis and interviews at the 2017 JEMUN conference and compile the results. Principal Investigator Sheehan will attend an LSP facilitator training program to gain experience and learn more about the LSP methodology, its standard applications, and the knowledge needed to facilitate the LSP process during data collection in 2017.
