In the final year of my research, I published the following. First is about the internationalization of emerging and developed economy business groups in an historical perspective. This is published as: Business Groups in International Business, Asli M. Colpan and Alvaro Cuervo-Cazurra. In The Routledge Companion to Makers of Global Business, Routledge U.P, 2019. Second is on emerging economy business groups and explaining the reasons for their emergence and resilience, with particular emphasis on the role of entreprenuership. This is published as a chapter in a book I coedited: Business, Ethics and Institutions: The Evolution of Turkish Capitalism in Global Perspectives, eds. Asli M. Colpan and Geoffrey Jones, New York and London: Routledge, 2019.
