研究実績の概要 |
In this research, I have proposed a scale invariant polynomial expansion method that can detect dense correspondences for estimation of displacement or disparity in heterogeneous camera array, independent of sampling densities and field of views. In the proposed approach, pixels from image coordinate are projected to camera coordinate. Furthermore, to be independent of large displacement of multi-view image, multi-resolution analysis is applied. Experiments were conducted on both simulated and captured images by the heterogeneous camera array. Results verified that the this method can accurately estimate large displacement among multi-view images.

I could achieve the main goal of this research in the past 1 year which was: Development of technology for High-spec multiview video reconstruction from heterogeneous camera array.

今後の研究の推進方策 |
In the next step, I have two plans to achieve within the next two years as follows: (1) Improve the hardware spec of the heterogeneous camera array. (2) High-spec multiview video reconstruction (high frame rate, high resolution, and high dynamic rage).

次年度使用額が生じた理由 |
For the extension of the developed system, I needed to survey and this phase has been completed in the first year. Now I am expecting to extend this array by adding necessary hardware to support the performance and spec of the system.

My usage plan will be on two parts. One is extension of the spec and performance of the hardware. The other one will be on publication and presentation in academic events.
