研究実績の概要 |
The purpose of this research is to investigate the need for and availability of mental health support for these young people, particularly those outside the relatively well-resourced Tokyo/Yokohama area, and to understand this within the context of effective local, domestic and international school and community-based mental health support programs and provision. The research will be take place in a local international school and its wider community, and seeks answers to the questions within the following three areas: Needs in the school and the community, support in the school and the community and research on culturally competent support. This project provides an opportunity to do in-depth research in one international school and its local community over time, through first investigating student needs for support and then documenting the impact of the workshops and interventions the school implements as a result of the student needs questionnaire.
