研究実績の概要 |
During the first months of the project the main focus was made on the development of the LEIS analysis methodology for the quantitative analysis of materials used for electrochemical energy conversion devices. In this sense, the project covered the two work-packages described for the year 2016: 1.Determination of the sensitivity factors for the cations of interest: The characteristic velocity method was applied on powdered standard materials for the estimation of the survival probability and sensitivity factors of the cations of interest in selected perovskite materials (e.g. Strontium, Lanthanum, Cobalt and Nickel). This methodology also provides information about the charge-exchange processes during the primary ion-atom surface interaction. The primary species studied were 4He+ and 20Ne+.
2.Validation of the LEIS analyses on electrode materials. The neutralization behaviour of the primary projectile for the analysis of two state-of-the-art electrode materials (i.e. La0.6Sr0.4Co0.2Fe0.8O3- and La2NiO4+ was evaluated as a function of the energy to identify the presence of matrix effects.
